Pulled pork or pulled pork recipe

Ingredients

  • 800 gr roast pork neck
  • 1 drizzle of cooking oil
  • 200 gr tomato sauce
  • 200 ml vegetable broth
  • 60 ml liquid honey
  • 60 ml apple cider vinegar
  • 1 onion or some onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 pinches of paprika
  • 1 garlic clove pressed (or garlic powder)
  • 1 pinch of freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  • In a roasting pan or ovenproof casserole dish, brown the roast on all sides on medium high heat.
  • Preheat oven to 150 ° C.
  • Prepare all the ingredients for the marinade in a small bowl.
  • Pour over the roast, cover and cook the pork in your dutch oven for 7 hours.
  • Remove from the oven, shred pork using two forks.
