Mussels Mariniere Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 kg. of mussels (8.8 lb)
  • 1 celery branch
  • 50 gr. of butter (1/2 cup or 1.8 oz)
  • 2 shallots
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 bunch parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 dl. of white wine (1 cup or 6.7 oz)
  • pepper
Instructions
  1. Peel and dice all the ingredients.

  3. Melt butter in a large casserole dish. Add celery, garlic, shallots, parsley and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes. Pour white wine and add mussels.
  4. Cover and leave to cook for 10 minutes and serve.
