As you have noticed I have some troubles to concentrate right now with everything else I need to plan. But for once I am here and I have cooked one of the easiest recipe I know the “Moules Marinières”. My Grand Mother was always making some during the week-end and it is one of my favourite dishes. Have you ever tried a moules marinieres recipe?

Ingredients (serves 2):

  • 2 kg of mussels
  • 1 celeri branch
  • 50 gr. of butter
  • 2 schallots
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 bunch parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 dl. of white wine
  • pepper

Peel and dice all the ingredients. In a big pan, add the butter, celeri, garlic, schallots, parsley and pepper. Cook during 2 minutes. Add the white wine and the mussels. Cover and leave to cook during 8 to 10 minutes and serve!

  1. Beautiful. I wish I could get mussels where I live. But when I travel to Europe, this is what I eat!
